Nigerians are very hypocritical! So repugnant and disgusting as to make me puke; so irreverent as to make me mourn! READ ON...

After the French shootings, Nigerians were busy using the flag of France as their facebook profile pictures and dps but here with us is a shooting in Ozobulu community which is within our own periphery, that have left many Nigerian families bereaved, and what are we doing?

I supported the solidarity mourning for the shooting in France and in fact I mourned the incident more than these hypocrites but I vehemently refused to change my dp to the French flag because I refused to be associated with such hypocrisy. Boko Haram had killed thousands of souls in this country before the incident in France and we never mourned the victims the way  Nigerians (government and citizens) publicly mourned the victims of the French shootings.

Now coming to the present time, tell me; what makes the French shootings different from the sad incident at Ozobulu yesterday where citizens who got happily dressed to their parish of worship ended up so dead and wounded? Or, are there no enough dead bodies yet?

* Why have the Federal and State Governments not declared that our flags be flown at half mast in mourning the deceased?

* Why are the dps of Nigerians not portraying a mourning mood like they did for France?

* What have the Nigerian media done (electronic, print, social media) as regards this shootings, in showing Nigerians the faces of the victims of the heinous circumstance, to enable us the citizens immortalise them in our hearts?

The questions in my heart are numerous but one question is cardinal;

When shall we stop our hypocrisy and learn to treat the lives of our citizens and fellow Nigerians with dignity?
